First for everything
I hope this blog may serve to help or entertain. I'm new to this but have followed "The Field Lab" for about 7 year's. I just hope I can do as well ah John has. This all started after I traded my old camper in for a smaller but brand new Forest River Wolf Pup. Today marks the first trip, and while only a one nighter, so far it's been good. Our first trip was to Waveland Park on Blue Mountain Lake about 10 miles east ofthe town of Magazine, At. The park allowed us to book online, but when we got here there was plenty of sites. This lake is know for it's crappie fishing so it gets a lot of use. Lesson learned #1. Bring extra water hoses. Sites have water but it's located some distance, about 40' from the site. Had to drive back to the local Walmart to get some hoses. Bathroom's with showers and they are clean. Great cell service, helps being south of most towers on My Magazine. Weather has been awesome.
